Hi people, i just realised that with regards to the previous post, I made a mistake by saying that you should take Bus 12 to get to Metta School from Simei MRT station, when actually have to take Bus 9 instead!! I'm so sorry!! :(

Hi people, long time since i blogged! :)
came back today cos i wanna do a review on a cafe:)
BTW, I'M NOT PAID TO DO THIS REVIEW!
I just wanna do it cos i think it is for a good cause^^
Okay, so there is this Buddhist welfare organisation called Metta Welfare Association http://www.metta.org.sg/
it provides many services for those in need for example Disability Care, Medical Care, Children Care, Special Education and it has a Social Enterprise, which is what i would like to emphasise more about today:)
As it has a school called Metta School which offers special education to children with mild intellectual disability and autism aged between 6 and 18 years old. The school premises are in Simei http://www.mettaschool.edu.sg/
The Social Enterprise is a Cafe set up to create vocational training and employment opportunities for adolescents aged 18 and above from special education schools
so basically, it means that it provides job opportunities and job experiences for students who have graduated from Metta School, or Special Education Schools!
This will provide them with working experience so that next time when they go out to work in the workforce, they will be able to tell their employers that they have experience! Working at this Cafe also allows this students to earn some money :)
Therefore, i would strongly encourage people to patronize this Cafe! You can go there for lunch or dinner!
Although it is a Vegetarian Cafe but the food is really quite nice:) I'm a non-vegetarian too but i don't find it horrible or anything when eating the food:)
They have dishes such as Pineapple Rice and Olive Rice (both $4.30), Char Kway Teow and Bee Hoon (both $3.70), and dishes you can find in Tze Char stalls such as Hor Fun, Fried Rice and Muay Fun (idk about the prices though cos i haven't tried them yet)
The pineapple and olive rice both taste okay, the char kway teow is pretty nice and i love the bee hoon! It tastes abit like a type of sliced fish beehoon i have ate before outside, and i think it's really nice:) and all the portions are pretty big so if you're a small eater maybe 3 people can share 2 servings? will come down to about $2.50 or $2.90 per person:) but maybe this doesn;t apply to everyone:)
And i've got good news! For the month of June, the Cafe will be selling Western set meals!
The meals come with a main course, a soup of the day and a potong ice cream:)
The main course you can choose either a pizza (even bigger than Pan pizza!), spagetthi or a burger!
And it's actually $7++ but there's a 30 per cent discount for all students, so it's like less than $5.50? :)
And the Cafe does not charge service charge or GST, they are all counted in the price already! :)
So the Western set is really cheap, it's like outside you maybe pay $5.50 for a Fish and Chips, but now you pay less than $5.50 and you get 3 dishes!!
And it's really filling too, for people who are afraid you can't finish, maybe you can order 2 servings and share it among 3 people too!
The following are benefits i came up with for eating at the Cafe:
- You can help the Cafe generate more income and by doing so , you help the students who are working there too:) (it is a Welfare Organisation so by going there we can help them!)
- It's for a good cause:)
- For the Western set meal, it's so cheap and you still get to enjoy! :)
- It's Vegetarian so it's healthier and it helps in animal conservation (although it's just a little effort if you only dine there once, but if alot of poeple go it really helps alot!) hehehe!
It's located in Simei, just take to Simei MRT station then take bus 9 and the bus alights opposite the school! I can't really say which bus stop is it etc here now, but if you really wanna know, fb me!

Hey people:D I just looked thru my posts and i realised that i had alot of drafts from the past that i didn't publish bleah-.- and i want a Tumblr! it's so cool(: i'd probably be changing to Tumblr soon. but i don't think i'll publish it that often either. . .but Blogger is better for a read-only blog la. dk la, see have time or not. i don't even think anyone will be reading this except probably months later when someone pops in to check my progress-.- my next blog had be open, then people can comment:D and HEY, i deleted all the posts that is directed at scolding people only. I'm gonna be a nicer person and probably save those anger posts as drafts instead of posting them instead(: my posts are kinda EMO i realised. . .esp those recent ones which actually aren't recent at all-.- i'd either give my blog a revamp while still using Blogger or just change to Tumblr. before that waited for Huiqi till like 1.30 cos she need take spelling
so Cassandra rushed home to bathe, haha
then went to Magic Wok Express
she made it back in time!
then ate and talked, first part not much of talking actually
then Monik came, Huixin had to leave for RCY
Monik joined us
then 2 other of their church guy friends came over lent Huiqi Macbook
then they took the Macbook back and we talked :D
heheh, fun time talking :)
then Huiqi left for church
the other guys too
talked with Monik for awhile more, then me and Cassandra took with her to MRT
Monik took circle line so trained back with Cassandra
she alighted at Simei
it was fun :)
and WHY DID GERMANY LOSE TO SPAIN ?!

we thought he won't be coming to our class anymore cos he wasn't supposed to have lessons ytd

after all he leaving already , one of the last times we can see him
the day before me ,Cassandra and Zheng Qing made gifts for Mr Choo , Mr Boon and Mr Yap
we customised hand-made it you know !
it's like we bought 3 plain notebooks , 3 plain clear folders and 3 plain pencil cases
then bought some markers
Cassandra decorated the pencil cases , Zheng Qing decorated the notebooks and i decorated the files :D
then all customised what , so we gave it as a set :D
Mr Choo gave us chocolates :D
then when he leaving he said "for the last time , thank you 1D "
then i was super sad la
he's one of the most awesome teachers k
then we chased him after he left the class to pass him the gifts
then Mr Wee came into our class for idk what reason , stayed there till recess
recess went to staff room to pass Mr Boon and Mr Yap our gifts :D

all leaving for uni , but since it's for a good cause so i wish you all all the best !

it was awesome , they taught us how to make rice dumpling !

Long time since i last posted, but whatever.
This week wasn't much of a perfect week kay
when things were starting to get better, a chunk of irritating things had to come along the way

anyways, Monday was nice!
It was really great to see my awesome friends

who knows, after a long time of waiting, they said "DON NOT BOARD THE UPCOMING TRAIN"
so went to the other platform and waited
waited for 5 minutes for it to arrive, and while in it waited for 4 minutes for it to depart
througout the ride the train travelled slow fast slow fast
until at Simei mrt, the doors opened for a very long time
then say got train fault
after a while back to normal

usually when we reach the bus stop it was still a little dark, but that day it was very bright
usually can reach school bus stop at 7, now reach Paya Lebar bus stop at 7
luckily could reach in time

no train fault la, but i forgotten to bring container for Home Econ -,-
needed to stuff my frigging pizza into a pathetic plastic bag

thought it would be at Pasir Ris

who knows, when i reached there it was closed!

i ran so fast that i didnt even cared when my whole shoe up to my ankle was soaked in a puddle of water
then ran for the bus
when gotten on the bus was catching my breath
panting madly
i felt like i just won gold for the olympics you know

so waited under shelter first
when the light flashed green, i opened the umbrella and ran and ran and ran across the road like a reatrd cos the other ppl crossing the road were walking
but cos before that under the shelter i saw lightning!

then i saw Joseph result slip, he get XX for science (idw to say)
then i told Zheng Qing, then she was like XX over XXX(this number is one more than the previous number. example XX is 1 then XXX is 2 means 1 over 2 points)
then i was like "no! XX/100!"
then she "huh!" superr loudly and superr funnynevermind if it isnt funny to you
walked to Paya Lebar with Zheng Qing and tooked MRT back, shared many secrets (:

MONDAY
went to Christine's house
early in the morning woke up at about 8?
yupp, packed up and left house at 9.25
met Zheng Qing at Pasir Ris MRT
she say she took a cab over!
cos she waited so long for the bus
but immediately after she hopped on the cab, she turned around and saw the bus (-,-)
and the cab ride costed her $5.40!
like, gosh, a bus ride would only cost 44cents
anyways, got onto the train
alighted at Bedok, met Jia Mei at the MRT station
then walked to bus interchange

then talktalktalk, last min i felt like playing Rodeo Bull, but cos times up so can't
anyways, there were games like basketball, soccer, captain chicken, LAN gaming, candle blowing, rodeo bull and hotdog eating competition
yupp, collect the trophy for Su-Ann for winning the Rodeo Bull Female Under 14 prize

WEDNESDAY
i think i'm down with flu
left home at 12 liddat to meet up with Science group for project
saw Nicholas firs
he said Esther would be coming a little late and Amas won't be coming, so yeah, both of us went up to the library 1st
after a while Esther came
discussed about the gadgets
then we kena chased out by the librarian
she say cannot do project work in library
before that Nick bought a type of plasticine from a hardware store
we didnt know how to use it, so went back to find the lady
AND I SAW YJ!
omgosh it's been a million years since i last saw her
she said she's going to Bugis with SJ o.O
talked
then Nick came out of the hardware store saying "who are you talking to?" out loud
i was soooooooooo embarrassed
anyways, went under Esther's block to do the project
then the cleaner come a say if the town council ppl saw us will call police cos like dirtying public property
so went up to Esther's house her sis was crying over some pamelo plant thing
discussed more left at 3.15 and went for tuition dined outside for dinner _____________________________ loads of hol hw gonna chiong them now 8 poems for literature, did only 4 -,- anyways, ciao.

-I'm in love with Cassandra's ribbon tie
-Christine's superr nice!

and my class won the best class award during the camp!

totally didnt expect it
but we were really great at our cheers
all the camp activities were fun
there was one where we had to control the GPS.
and me, Christine, Zheng Qing, Han Yiou and Joseph were in the same group
that was superr fun luh.
we kept fooling around. (:
Day one.
Sat on the bus with Jia Mei.
Wasn't really fun cos was rather tired
didnt sleep well the previous night

after like nearly 2 hours, reached the camp site
was scorching hot
applied insect repellent, sun block, blah
Cassandra's superr well-equipped kays
she brought what hair sun block, sun block, insect repellent, moisturiser and many more

after that went for briefing
then had to pitch tents!
was okayokay
just that Christine's the only one in our clique that's in a diff group from us! ):
finished pitching the tent, our tent's ppl are very cooperative you know!
we pitched the whole thing ourselves

had lunch
after that went abseiling
Christine's group got to do the zipline
and obviously the zipline is fun-ner then abseiling
before the abseiling i was so afraid
cos when we climbed up it was already very high
it's like, the stairs ae made of metal and it's like tose kind of fire engine people climb up the stairs and looks unsafe
then up there wo lian qing chun bai
but scariest part is before going down and not when going down.
after that did the challenge rope course
i got to do twice!
cos before that teacher put me with Rachel they all
then did the lower element
hahahs, was okayokay
just that Qing Xiao and Rachel's convo was superr funny (:
but Jia Mei's group went last and they were short of 1 person
so i went with them (:
did the broken bridge
was much higher and scarier then the previous one
actually didnt want to do cos it was already drizzling
but they were pestering us to try to have something we would be proud of
so yeah, tried
didnt have time to think how scary it was cos was rushing due to the rain already
was fun (:
after that showered and had dinner
then went nightwalking
it's like we have to blindfold ourselves and hold on to the person infront of us to walk

they will constanly change the person infront and behind you
then had campfire preparation time where we learnt cheers and all that
by then was already so tired
then planned a class cheer and had to gather for debrief
they say you can choose to have supper or not, but apparrently i was too tired so didnt have it
then me, Cassandra and Zheng Qing was so tired we didnt even brush our teeth ><>Second day
had integrated programme
time when we had to do the filtering through our filtration gadgets and all that nonsense
oh, and the wild goose chase
idk what was the marks for the wild goose chase, but we came in first, like the other time. (:
BUT WE FAILED OUR FILTRATION GADGET.

but i think our beam balance also cmi luh
whatever, no point crying over spilt milk
then had Geo Caching
it's like, we learnt how to use the compass and GPS
compass part was boring, but the tr was very nice
Andrew requested that if we were to all drink water at the same time can she give us bonus marks, and she agreed!
then we all yam seng before drinking. (:
then cos i brought my Ribena big bottle, so before yam seng-ing Cassandra was like saying "Emmalene's bottle already like wine bottle already." (:
then had to do the GPS part, before that went into the office for a talk and it had air con, superr shuang (:
me, Han Yiou, Christine, Joseph and Zheng Qing were in the same group, then it's like we walked around the whole campsite searching for answers
which was fun
i mean, my group members are fun
before that Han Yiou was holding onto the compass and like turning around, then we were like saying he has gone bonkers, but at last its bcos the compass abit sot sot derh, so must keep turning around
there was one question whereby we had to go near this abandoned white house, which was scary!
and we had to walk past the guy's campsite, and we saw a white underwear outside one of the tents. eww.
then cos the more number of questions we get correct, the more number of bonus points we get, so ms Erma told us to copy one another's!
LOL!
went back to gather, went through answers, then the trainer say will give us bonus points if we did our cheer for him
did it really loudly, was fantastic (:
after that showered and had dinner
then CAMPFIRE! (: (: (: (:
very fun
just that the fire keeps going down .___________.
but our cheers were great!
had a great time
there was a guy in 1B who did the Michael Jackson dance
was cool
and our class had the most number of people getting the best people award (:
then went to sleep
actually i slept for 20mins, then i woke up at 12+
ZQ, JM and Rachel was talking, so joined them
Cassandra too woke up at around that timing and we all talked
but before we slept i already told them to keep the flaps closed or it would be very scary, but they insisted that keeping it open will help the air circulate (?)
then, at 12+, they started getting scared but by then no one dared to go and close it
so 1 by 1, they woke everyone up in the tent to go and close it
no one dared, except Hui Xin
and Rachel was kinda crying cos her flap was still opened and she was begging Hui Xin to close it
they wanted to keep the flap open one what
at last got everyone awaken
if it was me i would be damn pissed man
then Ms Chan peeped into the tent
she said we were talking so loudly that she could hear us from the pathway when our tent is the farthest from the pathway!
that night was super quiet cos the night before everyone except ppl from my tent cannot sleep
then cos Mr Arif say between 2-4 am the ghosts most likely will come out so my class boys between 2-4am never sleep! (i meant the previous night)
everyone in the tent somemore!
so 2nd night they slept very fast
we slept at 1.30am (:
Third day
in the morning did kayaking
partnered Cassandra
and our class had the honour of having the most number of cuts due to kayaking!
cos the kayak's sharp
after going one round with Cassandra, went with Rachel
we kept spraying water at the guys and joining our kayaks together. (:
then went into the Milo pond
looks disgusting on the outside but i can promise you, it was awesome
actually the water's quite clear, just that the sediments at the bottom makes it look disgusting
but i was so stupid
before going down the slide i closed my mouth real tight and pinched my nose
but it was going so fast i screamed
omgosh why did i have to scream
TWICE SOMEMORE.
cos my mouth's open and gush, the water went inside my mouth
eww
but it was fun still. (;
after that went cleaning up
moved floorboards and pitched a few more tents for the next school's that coming
then cleaned the trainer's room
Joseph was superr funny
cos he was standing besode the vacumn cleaner and saying "i am the housewife for the day. $10 per hour."
then someone told him to be waitier
then he say "don't want. waiter $7 per hour leh. housewife i just do already, do finish then sit down until 1 hour."
LOL!
but at last it was Sofie doing the vacuming
until at last she passed it to Joseph then he vacumn
after vacuuming he was trying very hard to make the bottom of the vacuum stand
but failed
so he plucked the bottom part of the vacumn out
then the trainer was like "why is this out?"
then he had no choice but to put it back in
LOL
nevermind if you don't understand
sat with Christine on the bus
was fun you know!
cos the boys were at the back seat and me, JM, ZQ and Christine were a seat infront
then we kept talking non-stop
Joseph and Ming Liang were playing with Christine's iTouch's TapTap
then cos have to collect 5 different types of things from the nature
Caleb collected 3 twigs and they were sticking out of his bag
then cos Larry revealed his crush to JM and ZQ
then he was like "fxxx you la."
then he took the twig out and started hitting Larry with it
then Ms Erma was like "Caleb, stop it."
then while Caleb put his twig back, he said: "Public caning."
LOL!
and then the twigs kept poking his chin
so after a while, he looked at his twig and said: "ehh why broken liao?!"
then Joseph go and break it again
then everyone started trying to break it
then he was like hitting all their hands
hahahas
then Joseph accidentally clicked on the Drag Paper game on Christine's iTouch
it's a game whereby you have to pull the toilet paper out in the shortest time (Christine could do it in 2 secs you know!)
then he dk how to play
until like 7 sces later then he know
then he was like "ehh help me!"
then everyone pitched in to help
LOL!
reached school
waited for ZQ's uncle to send us back
me, ZQ, Joseph, Ming Liang and Sofie was all waiting
then cos before we left for camp Joseph and Ming Liang left their soccer ball near the shooting range
they wanted to go and find it
so asked us to come along
before leaving, Joseph saw his insect repellent and asked me "you want?"
then i was like "crazy arh in school apply what insect repellent?"
then he laughed
went to find the soccer ball
and it was at the exact same place it was the other day!
then started playing
and then i kena bitten by mosquito
told Joseph, he was laughing at me for not applying his insect repellent
band people were practising
they say on wed, thurs and fri, their practice hours are from after morning assembly to 7pm!
saw Xavier(from band), and he was like a tomato from practising under the hot sun
cos he's part of main band
after that went play monkey bars
saw Ting Mei!
she's also from band
missed her!
Camp would be much fun-ner with her presence
but she was released earlier cos she not part of main band
and she said last year 1D also got the best class award during camp (!)

ZQ's uncle came
bade goodbye to Joseph and Ming Liang
reached home at 6.45pm
but was cooped outside the house cos no one was at home and i didn't have the key
entered home at about 7
HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS.
love home<3 i missed you loads bed! had to sleep on the hard wooden planks, caused aches all over my body -,- gotta do research for geography now byes!

yay, i got to wish her on her actual birthday on my superr dead blog (:
actually just now after school wanted to go out with her to celebrate, but apparrently she already had a date with her cedarians so oh well, had to give it a miss
but nvm luh, after all it's her birthday, she happy can already. (:
anyways, i realised that me and Carine are going to stay as best friends forever
she may not regard me as her bestest of the best friend, but i do
she's always treating me so nice, sacrificing her time for me and helping me out in everything
i only realised this when i recalled all that she had done for me a few weeks ago
probably we had not known each other for long-only like 1 and a half years or what?-but in this 1 and a half years, i understand many things
anyway, no matter what, to me, me and Carine are going to stay as best friends forever, at least till i die.
Carine, thanks for all that you have done for me, i really appreciate it alot. I know probably i've been rather sensitive and not understanding, throwing small little useless tantrums, but no matter what, you know that i still love you loads as a friend right? Sorry and thank you for putting up with my nonsensical and irreasonable tantrums, and sacrificing your lunch and time for me many times. There was some time in the year whne a huge quarrel broke out between us, and trust me, i wasn't feeling good at that time-at all. Cos you are like the tooth brish, and i'm the teeth, so it's like without the tooth brush, the teeth cannot be cleaned. You get what i mean right? A disgusting example, but holds so true for me.I hope history like that never repeats itself again. The other time when i had problems, although you didnt help much, but knowing that i have a shoulder to lean on is good enough, so you are not useless kay? Don't ever think of yourself as useless. Sometimes you just want to keep how you feel to yourself.
Sometimes when the same thought keeps repeating in your mind, it makes you feel helpless.
Sometimes you would always think that you are blessed and that you deserve what you get, when actually that's just a wishful thinking on your part.
Happiness seems so easy to reach, so near, yet when you try to reach out for it, it's actually as far as the sky.
People can't suit all your needs, i know, but at times, you really really feel scar-ed.
As if you have made the wrong choice.
Especially when the people around you think otherwise, which before that you persisted on your decision, and if you let it out, it would make you feel embarrassed.
And if life on the other end is worst, what are you going to do?
Happiness is simple, but confused thoughts in your mind makes it complicated.
One shouldn't think too much at times.
Fate, we should accept it.
It's time to move on and not get stuck to your old ways.
Apparently i need some time getting used to.
Sometimes you really want to keep how you feel to yourself.

It's not the thoughts that hurt, it's the pain that kills.
